Epson’s SC-F20000: eight printheads and around 306 m² an hour
Epson’s new industrial dye-sublimation printer is built for sportswear, fashion, homewares and soft signage.
November 2, 2026

Epson launched the SureColor SC-F20000 in May 2026, its first dye-sublimation printer with eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads. In its fastest mode it prints up to about 306 square metres an hour at 600 dpi.
It takes 10-litre ink cartridges with automatic “hot swap” switching, so production does not stop for a refill, and has an intake fan and media cleaner to keep dust from clogging the nozzles. An optional jumbo-roll unit handles larger rolls. Epson showed it at FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 in Barcelona (19–22 May).
Why it matters to us: industrial speed is what brings the price of all-over printed sportswear closer to that of plain garments.
